Iron supplements increase the amount of iron in your body. They are used to treat and prevent some types of anaemia.
Take iron supplements regularly as directed. Swallow the tablets whole, with food and a glass of water.
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and carry on as normal. Do not take two doses at the same time.

Tell your pharmacist or doctor about all medicines or treatments that you may be taking, including vitamins, herbal products or recreational drugs.
Please tell your doctor if you notice: Nausea, constipation or diarrhoea. The medication may darken your bowel motions which is common and nothing to worry about.
This medication should not have an adverse effect on your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you feel unwell, drowsy or dizzy refrain from driving and consult your doctor.
